The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Pietsch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Gnann kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Traktor Götz booed when Balders Hage IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Björkdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Heiß having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Balders Hage IF's Daniel Holm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Balders Hage IF's Jens Björkdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herman Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Heiß having to interfere. Oskar Lövkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Uno Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Thees, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Thees in the 43rd minute of play forced Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Uno Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Benedikt Altpeter came free, but Uno Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hans Thees made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 69 minutes, Benedikt Altpeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Traktor Götz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Altpeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes Balders Hage IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Lövkvist. Hans Thees in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Uno Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 74 minutes into the game, Balders Hage IF's Daniel Holm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Günther Heiß made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Balders Hage IF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Oskar Lövkvist hit a great ball. After 82 minutes, Herman Lindell made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Traktor Götz's Günther Heiß tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 played minutes Balders Hage IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Lövkvist. In the 89th minute, Daniel Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günther Heiß having to interfere. There was no doubt that Balders Hage IF were the better team. Balders Hage IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
