If 何霆誉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 汪适志 in the 8th minute of play. Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 汪适志 in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Silver Play 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Garcia. Jonatan Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 汪适志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Franco Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 韩烽康 was a little too slow when Rene Reyes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jonatan Mel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's 曲沙峰. But to his dismay, 曲沙峰 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's zone, Franco Muñoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 韩烽康 came out of the goal and Franco Muñoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Silver Play 2 defense, 何霆誉 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Mel. The Silver Play 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Mel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Silver Play 2 booed when 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曾延凌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 韩烽康 having to interfere. In the 44th minute 吕延超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Muñoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 曲沙峰 was the one to do the kick off. Franco Muñoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 韩烽康 having to make a save. Silver Play 2's Jonatan Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 吕延超 in the 56th minute of play. Sergio Baristo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 韩烽康 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Muñoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Muñoz in the 67th minute of play forced 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 韩烽康 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部 got a freekick which was hit by 吕延超. 70 minutes into the game, 曾延凌 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silver Play 2 the free kick. In the 76th minute, Ramon Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 韩烽康 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 85th minute, Franco Muñoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silver Play 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 90th minute, 蒋邦朋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Rene Reyes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's 曲沙峰 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Mel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's zone, Franco Muñoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 韩烽康 came out of the goal and Franco Muñoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Silver Play 2 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
