The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariel Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ourente Egea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olando Liendo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fulgencio Javiero 10 minutes into the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Fulgencio Javiero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ourente Egea during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ourente Egea to maneuver through the defense. Húmi Pomelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eguen Catalan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Matteo Enriquez put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Programayin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Eguen Catalan had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Orlando Mark's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Programayin getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valiente Gascon hit a great ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Fulgencio Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olando Liendo in the 31st minute of play. Delmiro Sola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fulgencio Javiero made a huge save. Olando Liendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Walter-Adrián Colmenares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes, Gaspar Cedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and the Programayin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 45 in the game by Olando Liendo from a close distance when the talented Fulgencio Javiero managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's players were relieved. Eguen Catalan came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Cedro. But to his dismay, Gaspar Cedro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fulgencio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugaitz Ompanera in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Walter-Adrián Colmenares came free, but Fulgencio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Walter-Adrián Colmenares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Programayin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Sola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Javiero was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Fulgencio Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olando Liendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Jaume Alderete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Delmiro Sola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Olando Liendo made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Javiero. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. A collision led to Programayin getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jaume Alderete hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Cedro. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomas Kaxen hit a great ball. Programayin's Olando Liendo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene. 88 minutes into the match, Gaspar Cedro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eguen Catalan, 5-2. In the 95th minute, Olando Liendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Programayin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
