After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Arí Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Glorious FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armandinho Fantini did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jarbas Loyola 27 minutes into the match. If Armandinho Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Armandinho Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jarbas Loyola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elite™- FC Galácticos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Armandinho Fantini scored to the left of an out of position Jarbas Loyola, making the score, 3-0. Falcão Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Jarbas Loyola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Jarbas Loyola managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when The Glorious FC's Arí Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. Jarbas Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Fantini in the 53rd minute of play. Jarbas Loyola came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by The Glorious FC's Falcão Lara. But to his dismay, Falcão Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Armandinho Fantini might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armandinho Fantini ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes, Armandinho Fantini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Glorious FC and the Elite™- FC Galácticos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, The Glorious FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Fantini to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, João Pedro Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Aílton de Godoi. The Glorious FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Aílton de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo de Mendonça in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Glorious FC's Falcão Lara got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 85th minute Armandinho Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jarbas Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Glorious FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elite™- FC Galácticos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
