In the 5th minute, FLA MQ BRASIL's Luís Fabiano Freire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jozef Anthonissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Luís Fabiano Freire made a precise shot to the right of Jozef Anthonissen. Café DE PLOEG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 19 minutes, Isaltino Senna made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Café DE PLOEG's Jozef Anthonissen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, FLA MQ BRASIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Freire to maneuver through the defense. If Henri Van Hespe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Joost Rauvoets hit a great ball. Joel Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Van Hespe in the 32nd minute of the match. Isaltino Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jozef Anthonissen made a huge save. Café DE PLOEG's Henri Van Hespe got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Glen Coremans came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Café DE PLOEG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen Coremans couldn't finish the play. Henri Van Hespe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Aguiar having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Van Hespe came free, but Joel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Van Hespe was the one to do the kick off. Glen Coremans struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Joel Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Café DE PLOEG. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Jozef Anthonissen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If João Augusto do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Verduijn. 68 minutes into the game, FLA MQ BRASIL's Luís Fabiano Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jozef Anthonissen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Henri Van Hespe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With 73 minutes on the clock, Dito Fantini commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of FLA MQ BRASIL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Café DE PLOEG:s goal. If Isaltino Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Café DE PLOEG's Jozef Anthonissen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto do Nascimento in the 85th minute of play. Henri Van Hespe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Joel Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Joel Aguiar managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Café DE PLOEG's Henri Van Hespe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FLA MQ BRASIL's Joel Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FLA MQ BRASIL from getting a goal against them. When Marcelinho Perez fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLA MQ BRASIL's protests and gave Marcelinho Perez a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes FLA MQ BRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Perez. Henri Van Hespe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Joel Aguiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Joost Rauvoets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Café DE PLOEG's supporters rose to their feet, but Joost Rauvoets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henri Van Hespe had several of the FLA MQ BRASIL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-2 score and a disappointed Joel Aguiar as he didn't even see the shot coming. FLA MQ BRASIL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Café DE PLOEG for a fine match.
