The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Bocanegra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Válbson Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Válbson Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.A. Francana! Josias Verdaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wilson Cassia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, A.A.
