Alexander Yeste came out of the goal and Baldomiro Enetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Yeste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Honorato Santio made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Dei Mezquita sent off a good shot on target. Honorato Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dei Mezquita in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tio Cosme FC's Fidel Bernal got a free kick in the 20th minute. Normando Rosario charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Normando Rosario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Normando Rosario hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Normando Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. HORTALEZA FC's Vladimir March got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tio Cosme FC booed when HORTALEZA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Companys didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Fidel Jago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Yeste skillfully saved the ball. If Vladimir March had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Urko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimir March took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Santio. Honorato Santio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of HORTALEZA FC booed when Tio Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dei Mezquita during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristobal Urko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Alexander Yeste skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Gabon got free with Alexander Yeste in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dei Mezquita was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Dei Mezquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Tio Cosme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Gabon to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Urko came free, but Alexander Yeste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, HORTALEZA FC's Alfonso Feria got a free kick in the 78th minute. With his leg Alexander Yeste managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Tio Cosme FC's Cristobal Urko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. HORTALEZA FC's Normando Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimir March sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Normando Rosario was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th match minute, HORTALEZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normando Rosario to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HORTALEZA FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tio Cosme FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
