But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Llanez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Carpasús FC - FDC booed when FK Mazda Svidník was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Abovský didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carpasús FC - FDC's Severo Killer got a free kick in the 39th minute. Geofredo Falavarte did an outstanding performance 46 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Ivan Takáč in the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dušan Líška made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FK Mazda Svidník's zone, Beat Intriago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Takáč came out of the goal and Beat Intriago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Takáč made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Isern in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, FK Mazda Svidník's Štefan Škrteľ got a free kick in the 58th minute. FK Mazda Svidník's Ivan Takáč proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mazda Svidník from getting a goal against them. Dominic Orcondona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Líška, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Beat Intriago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Takáč having to interfere. The Carpasús FC - FDC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FK Mazda Svidník from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
