Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 17 minutes into the game, Apolo Edwardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lúcio Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. White StarZ's Benito Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Cosme in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, White StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Capixaba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Bernat. White StarZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 played minutes White StarZ got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Elequemedo. In the 30th minute, Apolo Edwardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Eliseu Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Paranhos Ariranha FC's zone, Apolo Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Mota came out of the goal and Apolo Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Edwardo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes, Geraldo de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paranhos Ariranha FC and the White StarZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Edwardos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Lúcio Mota to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Apolo Edwardo made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lúcio Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, White StarZ's Apolo Edwardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Benicio Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benicio Elequemedo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White StarZ's protests and gave Benicio Elequemedo a yellow card for diving instead. Benicio Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Luciano Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Paranhos Ariranha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Capixaba couldn't finish the play. The supporters of White StarZ booed when Paranhos Ariranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White StarZ. After 92 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Paulista. Apolo Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Zonta hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Bartolo Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Mota having to interfere.
