After 2 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Ström. Luiz Fábio Custódio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Olívio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Ennegren in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Ennegren came free, but Olívio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Washington Trevisan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute Bengt Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Ennegren came free, but Olívio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Lucas in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, João Paulo Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC La Masia's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olívio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Ennegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Lundkvist came free, but Olívio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Lundkvist in the 25th minute of play. Olívio Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Åke Ennegren went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Ström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Lundkvist in the 41st minute of play forced FC La Masia's goalkeeper Olívio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Paulo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Washington Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the Ciudad Tao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Washington Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvin Lundkvist to make the kick off. Luiz Fábio Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fábio Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Custódio. After 57 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Paulo de Toledo. In the 58th minute, Paulo de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC La Masia's Olívio Romero got control of the ball when Arvin Lundkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olívio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Bengt Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvin Lundkvist got free with Olívio Romero in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute João Paulo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arvin Lundkvist in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Anders Apelquist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olívio Romero. Anders Apelquist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Ciudad Tao FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Ciudad Tao FC's Arvin Lundkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute, Baltazar Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciudad Tao FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
