Roncourt's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Demeyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Fiordelisi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romuald Hugonnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Teodori to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Gameiro Maheo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Talenti Roma Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Paoletti to maneuver through the defense.
