Bobby De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Cearense in the 13th minute of the match. José Maria Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Bobby De Maerschalck made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Cearense got free with Bobby De Maerschalck in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geordy Vrijdag kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Joel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim De Groote in the 22nd minute of play. Les Presidents FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Red Dragon FC - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tim-Jan Vranckx took the corner. The corner led to Les Presidents FC's Steffe Jonckers getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Les Presidents FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Steffe Jonckers hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Gualter Tepedino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 32 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Garcia. Joel Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boubacar Keita went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bobby De Maerschalck made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Yuri Cearense sent off a good shot on target. Bobby De Maerschalck was a little too slow when José Maria Teixeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Wilson Cruz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Les Presidents FC's Tim-Jan Vranckx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Bueno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Presidents FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boubacar Keita in the 47th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Joel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boubacar Keita to make the kick off. Joel Bueno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roben Roukeloes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 58 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Gugu Marinho got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Cearense in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bobby De Maerschalck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boubacar Keita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Joel Bueno made a huge save. If Roben Roukeloes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Les Presidents FC's Geordy Vrijdag got a free kick in the 81st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Wilson Cruz put in a rough tackle. In the 87th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Tim-Jan Vranckx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Presidents FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim-Jan Vranckx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boubacar Keita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Bueno firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim De Groote in the 96th minute of the match.
