Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xamín Fedeghelli kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Báez got free with Alcadio Alderete in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domenico Báez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alcadio Alderete came out and tried to block the shot, but Domenico Báez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Cobresal's Cecilio Escandón got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee gave Colo-Colo a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arturo Vidal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cobresal's Alcadio Alderete. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Vidal in the 18th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Alcadio Alderete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Próspero Madrigal hit a great ball. Laurín Ibarguen's late challenge caught a Cobresal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurín Ibarguen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Laurín Ibarguen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Arturo Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alcadio Alderete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Xamín Fedeghelli kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cobresal defense, Domenico Báez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alcadio Alderete. The Cobresal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alcadio Alderete should have stopped the shot. Xamín Fedeghelli charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xamín Fedeghelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Xamín Fedeghelli hit a great ball. Alcadio Alderete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Báez in the 44th minute of the match. Alcadio Alderete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Vidal in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenico Báez to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alirio Fabiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Vidal in the 57th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Alcadio Alderete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xamín Fedeghelli kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Alcadio Alderete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcadio Alderete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Israel Epulef in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Colo-Colo booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Gandarillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cobresal's zone, Domenico Báez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alcadio Alderete came out of the goal and Domenico Báez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes of play, Colo-Colo's Arturo Vidal made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcadio Alderete was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 72 minutes, Renato Gandarillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobresal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Gandarillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Vidal in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alcadio Alderete saved Cobresal from getting behind. In the 81st minute Anderson Huaiquipan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcadio Alderete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xamín Fedeghelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alcadio Alderete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucián Berger in the 87th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes, Cobresal's Gaitán Huaquil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salomone Comas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cobresal reached it. Anderson Huaiquipan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcadio Alderete having to interfere. Alcadio Alderete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenico Báez went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
