After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alfredo Baez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Baez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 魏风邦 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Arsenal FC's Carlos Vela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sidney Keene. Sidney Keene yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Alfredo Baez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sidney Keene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 康然潮 in the 91st minute of play. Sidney Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵战西 in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Baez in the 96th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 魏风邦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
