Arí Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Teles in the 27th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tales Teles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vivaldo Paraíba. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Arí Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar da Fonseca in the 35th minute of play. The referee showed José Augusto Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jumentus Rock Club booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. One of Blumenau Esporte Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jumentus Rock Club:s goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube:s Vivaldo Paraíba showed great skill when he stopped Cássio Carioca:s penalty. After some careless play in the Blumenau Esporte Clube defense, Cássio Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Paraíba. The Blumenau Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Paraíba should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Teles came free, but Vivaldo Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Délio Gerber succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 73rd playminute. José Augusto Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vivaldo Paraíba came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Jumentus Rock Club's Elivélton Massa. But to his dismay, Elivélton Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 81st minute, Ian Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jumentus Rock Club's Cássio Carioca couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Blumenau Esporte Clube. 84 minutes into the game, Ian Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blumenau Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jumentus Rock Club the free kick. In the 84th minute, Ian Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elivélton Massa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jumentus Rock Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivélton Massa couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Tiago Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan de Godoi's late challenge caught a Blumenau Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
