Luka Pieper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Florian having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Clark Wolters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hernan Florian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goalkeeper Eusebio Bankesch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Rutenio. Luka Pieper kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

PoznanGalaxy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
