The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaf Sundberg made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Maciej Lisewski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Ignacy Olender got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pawel Zabrzeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Sellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Solibieda got free with Gustaf Sundberg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mattias Markusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pawel Zabrzeski was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Alex Persson came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Björkö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Persson couldn't finish the play. Gustaf Sundberg made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Zbyszek Solibieda sent off a good shot on target. After 32 played minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Rutkowski. Pawel Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Larsson in the 33rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ignacy Olender in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Björkö BK's Alex Persson. In the 36th match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Olejniczak to maneuver through the defense. Pawel Zabrzeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Björkö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Lisewski came free, but Gustaf Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Siekierski in the 40th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Gustaf Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Douglas Henriksson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Björkö BK defense, Bogdan Siekierski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Sundberg. The Björkö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Sundberg should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Sellberg to make the kick off. Gustaf Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Lisewski in the 52nd minute of play. Bogdan Siekierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Sundberg having to interfere. Gustaf Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Chlapowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Lichorobiec in the 58th minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Gustaf Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Siekierski in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Siekierski in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Sundberg saved Björkö BK from getting behind. Gustaf Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Siekierski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gustaf Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Siekierski in the 73rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bogdan Siekierski sped through Björkö BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaf Sundberg. In the 81st minute, Alex Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Björkö BK's Mattias Markusson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pawel Zabrzeski. That made the score 2-1 after 85 minutes of play. If Maciej Lisewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Witalis Chlapowski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaf Sundberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaf Sundberg came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Maciej Lisewski. But to his dismay, Maciej Lisewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
