Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serge Koryan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 14 played minutes C.S.D Punta Ballena got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Petřík. Jed Strickland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bartoli Navagos. C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Serge Koryan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.S.D Punta Ballena's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Piearres Samperio in the 21st minute. The corner led C.S.D Punta Ballena's Piearres Samperio to fire away a dangerous shot which Serge Koryan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Serge Koryan threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Federico Valverde, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Serge Koryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Chapital, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Olin Aranda. In the 28th minute, Foster Rivers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khachatryan's Serge Koryan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Khachatryan from getting a goal against them. Serge Koryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nevada Chapital in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Bruno Collazos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.D Punta Ballena and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Mikel Envito fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Serge Koryan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Serge Koryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nevada Chapital, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Theron Pujols hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Mikel Envito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Koryan having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarrod Redd to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikel Envito kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Mikel Envito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serge Koryan. Khachatryan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikel Envito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Valverde came free, but Serge Koryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Nevada Chapital shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serge Koryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny MacDowell to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lenny MacDowell hit a great ball. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Valverde in the 67th minute of play. Serge Koryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Jarrod Redd came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Khachatryan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarrod Redd couldn't finish the play. Bartoli Navagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrod Redd in the 77th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, C.S.D Punta Ballena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Guilizasti to maneuver through the defense. Khachatryan's Serge Koryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Valverde in the 87th minute of play. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Guilizasti in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Valverde during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Federico Valverde hit a great ball. Khachatryan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
