The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Berni y Benja FC's Aaron Mel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Lalescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berni y Benja FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Balaceanu UFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Bittor took the corner. Agustin Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Stan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelian Lalescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Mel in the 15th minute of the match. Stelian Lalescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Mel in the 16th minute of play. Agustin Baldovino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilian Gligan went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Aaron Mel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stelian Lalescu. Aaron Mel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Celedonio Erdiano struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Stelian Lalescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berni y Benja FC. With his leg Stelian Lalescu managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Berni y Benja FC's Celedonio Erdiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristobal Bermudez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Simon Hats hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Balaceanu UFC got a freekick which was hit by Emil Ardelean. Aaron Mel's late challenge caught a Balaceanu UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Mel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aaron Mel hit a great ball. Mihăiţă Puișoru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustin Baldovino. Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celedonio Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Lalescu having to interfere. Agustin Baldovino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Gligan in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Balaceanu UFC were awarded a corner. Ilie Cobâlcescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Balaceanu UFC's Ilie Cobâlcescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustin Baldovino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Hats during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berni y Benja FC made a substitution. Cipriano Peyo replaced Aaron Mel. After 49 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Hats. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Emilian Gligan made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Baldovino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Gligan in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cristobal Bermudez hit a great ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Cipriano Peyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balaceanu UFC's Stelian Lalescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Stelian Lalescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Berni y Benja FC's zone, Anton Negru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Baldovino came out of the goal and Anton Negru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Bermudez's late challenge caught a Balaceanu UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Bermudez. 76 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Agustin Baldovino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Negru. After 77 minutes, Daniel Zdrobiş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balaceanu UFC and the Berni y Benja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Balaceanu UFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Daniel Zdrobiş hit a great ball. When Emilian Gligan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Balaceanu UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Gligan couldn't finish the play. Stelian Lalescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Peyo in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Celedonio Erdiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berni y Benja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Stelian Lalescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Peyo in the 94th minute of the match. Cipriano Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Lalescu having to interfere.
