Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Vinhas started the match with the kick off. With his leg Délio Fantini managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Talleres's Adolfo Diaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ariel Burko struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Délio Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. Hortêncio Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Rodrigo Villagra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Délio Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Délio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Burko in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Fabiano Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. In the game's 38th minute Talleres's Rodrigo Villagra took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Délio Fantini and thus the score was 2-0. Adolfo Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Délio Fantini made a huge save. In the 47th minute of the match, Ariel Burko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Délio Fantini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Burko was the one to do the kick off. Délio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes Werneck FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvano Liberto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Talleres's corner Silvano Liberto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Délio Fantini quite easily take care of the ball. Délio Fantini came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres's Silvano Liberto. But to his dismay, Silvano Liberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 65th minute, Rodrigo Villagra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Rodrigo Villagra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Délio Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Talleres booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Villagra kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Délio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Tipi in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Diaz in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Délio Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Adolfo Diaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Fantini. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Diaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Délio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Burko in the 90th minute of play. Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Burko in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Talleres had played much better football throughout.
