Mount Oliver AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Mount Oliver AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhani Belkheir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redha Yacine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Ranolfo in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Cristian Gaur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Redha Yacine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 44 minutes, Yazid Hamruche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Oliver AFC and the Academia Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Mount Oliver AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yazid Hamruche. Redha Yacine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yazid Assad made a kick off. Cristian Gaur hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Dionisio Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Redha Yacine. Dionisio Dolfo's late challenge caught a Mount Oliver AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Yazid Hamruche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Mount Oliver AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Hamruche to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Gaur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Redha Yacine. That made the score 1-4 in the 94 minute of play. Cristian Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redha Yacine having to interfere. Academia Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
