The ConChanfle FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rami Icedo should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Dionisio Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rami Icedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Cordeal in the 10th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes ConChanfle FC got a freekick which was hit by Xurde Menchaca. When Dionisio Dolfo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Academia Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Dolfo couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rami Icedo made a huge save. Paulo Bartolome charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Bartolome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ConChanfle FC booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin Hoyos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to ConChanfle FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Senio Ciencabrero hit a great ball. If Cristian Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Dionisio Dolfo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rami Icedo to make any attempt to save it. Senio Ciencabrero hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Sustrai Madinabeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ConChanfle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sustrai Madinabeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Cordeal was the one to do the kick off. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Cordeal in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Cordeal in the 61st minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Gaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rami Icedo having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Dionisio Dolfo made a precise shot to the right of Rami Icedo. ConChanfle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. ConChanfle FC's Rami Icedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Gaur in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Cordeal. In the 79th minute, Senio Ciencabrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Xurde Menchaca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ConChanfle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. Academia Club's Hernan Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sustrai Madinabeitia in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Cristian Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rami Icedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ConChanfle FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Ranolfo was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Club's players had a chance to rest. 92 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Hernan Ellande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balesio Bueno. 94 minutes into the match, Balesio Bueno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hernan Ellande, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the ConChanfle FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academia Club.
