The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Coelho in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luisinho Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Best Ones's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisinho Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute Hugo Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Best Ones booed when Flan Mixto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Alonzo Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Lando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Juarês Fantini made a huge save. Luisinho Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to The Best Ones getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Naldo Maia hit a great ball. When The Best Ones's Luisinho Veiga in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flan Mixto FC's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Sarmento came free, but Jairo Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Luisinho Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Veiga in the 43rd minute of play forced Flan Mixto FC's goalkeeper Jairo Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Washington Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Lando to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Luisinho Veiga sent off a good shot on target. Jairo Bonifaco came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by The Best Ones's Arnaldo Sarmento. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Naldo Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Best Ones's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Veiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Bonifaco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luisinho Veigas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Jairo Bonifaco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 70 played minutes Flan Mixto FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Hibai. 71 minutes into the match, The Best Ones's Rodrigo do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Bonifaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flan Mixto FC's Jairo Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Coelho in the 74th minute of play. Jairo Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Coelho in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Joel Elizardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flan Mixto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Best Ones the free kick. In the 81st minute, Joel Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Hibai lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Flan Mixto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Best Ones:s goal. Jairo Bonifaco had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnaldo Sarmento's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luisinho Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jairo Bonifaco made a huge save. In the 89th minute Washington Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Veiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Jairo Bonifaco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Washington Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded The Best Ones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flan Mixto FC.
