A collision led to Mosqueteiros 4EVER getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Matheus Rosado hit a great ball. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Juvenal Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Küdüs in the 20th minute of play. Nando Barros's late challenge caught a Quetzal Flyers Hammers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Barros to maneuver through the defense. Stig-Ove Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes of play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mohamed Küdüs made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Mosqueteiros 4EVER defense, Sean Moore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Moreira. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Moreira should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Lukács Fabiański got control of the ball when Michel Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Küdüs in the 65th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Juvenal Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Michel Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukács Fabiański breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
