Rony Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Matos in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Matos in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rony Zanette saved Nonatos United from getting behind. Nae Moisil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Royal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Nonatos United's Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leontin Ilieș. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 29th minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nonatos United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leontin Ilieș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran back to his position shaking his head. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Leontin Ilieș made a huge save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Leontin Ilieș to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute, Octavian Gherasescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Nonatos United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Maciel to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Teodorescu. Rony Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Borza in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Nildo Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nonatos United's Rony Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leontin Ilieș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Nonatos United's Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Royal's goalie prevented a goal. If Charles Teuma Castelletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Teuma Castelletti in the 61st minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rony Zanette was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Nildo Matos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nildo Matos really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Nonatos United's Juan Foyth was substituted for Duda Vargas. Nonatos United made a substitution. Guido Ekain replaced Kaká Loureiro. Leontin Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo da Silva in the 71st minute of the match. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Nonatos United. Téo da Silva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leontin Ilieș. 6-1. When Téo da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Nonatos United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo da Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Nonatos United's Téo da Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leontin Ilieș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1.
