Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Nicolò Kings's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonçalo Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time Roceira SC's players had a chance to rest. After 8 minutes, Miguel da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roceira SC and the San Nicolò Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Miguel da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Mazzetti to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Roceira SC's Gonçalo Lima tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernardo Di Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sérgio Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Spitaleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Tasso in the 22nd minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes San Nicolò Kings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gonçalo Lima who took care of the corner kick. The Roceira SC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Roceira SC's Oscar Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oscar Tasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Bernardo Di Francesco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Corrado Gazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes, San Nicolò Kings's Biagio Mazzetti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Sabóia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Nicolò Kings reached it. In the 40th minute, Anselmo Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roceira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Tasso to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Lima in the 55th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roceira SC's attack was well implemented in the 70th minute, but when Gonçalo Lima was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Oscar Tasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Di Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Roceira SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
