Carlisle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harri Kaine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boruc Plaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Townsley in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, KS Zgredy's goalkeeper Boruc Plaski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calvin Townsley. Tod Bridgeworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Liermann in the 25th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes KS Zgredy got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Gmoch. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlisle United's Nial Messenger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boruc Plaski. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Liermann made a kick off. Boruc Plaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harri Kaine in the 52nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Bogdan Liermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tod Bridgeworth. Carlisle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Liermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
