Mauro de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Senen went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Senen came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Benigno Frans took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mauro de Salles to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Benigno Frans notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles. Mauro de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Tama's Jesus Iruinea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Iruinea got free with Mauro de Salles in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Daniel Guerra got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles got control of the ball when Hernan Cedro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dito Velloso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jesus Iruinea in the 31 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Gustavo Albella took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Mauro de Salles to make any attempt to save it. Gustavo Albella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Mauro de Salles made a huge save. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Senen in the 39th minute of play. Mauro de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Frans went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mauro de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Albella. After 48 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Frans. After 49 played minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dito Velloso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilberto Furtado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Iguaçu MZFC reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Jesus Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Lizbeth in the 58th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mauro de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Valentin Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Dito Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dito Velloso got a free kick in the 64th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Gustavo Albella sped through Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro de Salles. 72 minutes into the game, Tama's Niceto Rio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Mauro de Salles came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Tama's Niceto Rio. But to his dismay, Niceto Rio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Mauro de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Albella in the 79th minute of the match. Mauro de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Albella in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Rio came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Albella's late challenge caught a Nova Iguaçu MZFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Albella helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the match, Jesus Iruinea notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles. Mauro de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Rio came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
