The supporters of Bennis booed when Real Cruzeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cai Cheng Sang went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Andrézinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang. But to his dismay, Cai Cheng Sang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Åke Granberg in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Granberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Andrézinho Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10.

55 minutes in the game Tomé Soeiro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Júlio Arruda. Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Cheng Sang in the 60th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Cruzeiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos got control of the ball when Cai Cheng Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Edwin Söderqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Bennis's Pål Uggstedt was substituted for Cai Cheng Sang. In the 80th minute of the game Natã Madureira made a throw-in which Fabiano Carneiro played forward. After 83 minutes, Pål Uggstedt made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrézinho Mattos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bennis's Pål Uggstedt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-14 in the ordered_time% minute. Andrézinho Mattos stood somewhat misplaced when Edwin Söderqvist came free in front of goal and shot 0-15 to the left of him in the 90 minute. In the 93rd minute, Lin Xuan Hai made a precise shot to the right of Andrézinho Mattos. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. After 96 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Madureira. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Pål Uggstedt scored to the left of an out of position Andrézinho Mattos, making the score, 0-17. Pål Uggstedts short, quick shot in the 101stth minute got Andrézinho Mattos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bennis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
