Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Coutinho in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chad Pro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Pro in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes in the game Charlie Isaksson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Chad Pro. Vicente Toscano had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Chad Pro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Novaes in the 25th minute of play forced Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Säf came free, but Vicente Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krister Säf might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krister Säf ran back to his position shaking his head. Chad Pro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Vicente Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Adriano Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bäckström having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Hawelka Himalayan High was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Ahlén to maneuver through the defense. Mathias das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Fredrik Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Dadá Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bäckström having to interfere. Fredrik Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Chad Pro made the kick off in the second half. When Oscar Massa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC St. Pauli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Massa couldn't finish the play. Mathias das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bäckström having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Urbano during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fred Urbano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Krister Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hawelka Himalayan High's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Säf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, FC St. Pauli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Araújo to maneuver through the defense. When Oscar Massa fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC St. Pauli's protests and gave Oscar Massa a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Massa. Vicente Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chad Pro in the 71st minute of play. Vicente Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chad Pro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Massa came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fredrik Bäckström could save by the left post. After having played for 80 minutes, Adriano Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC St. Pauli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Massa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Fredrik Bäckström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ricardo Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC St. Pauli's Adriano Berger got a free kick in the 89th minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC St. Pauli's Fred Urbano tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC St. Pauli were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hawelka Himalayan High to leave the ground with a draw.
