The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Ulizes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Timoteo Peru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Manuel Tufescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC MCM's Mugur Jupâneanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ceferino Musko in the 19 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Redisz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Tufescu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Timoteo Peru sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Edelmiro Cheche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Panduru kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC MCM defense, Orlando Mouricio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Tufescu. The FC MCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Tufescu should have stopped the shot. When FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berutti FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Edelmiro Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 46 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Mustăcilă. Dacian Mustăcilă kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Manuel Tufescu made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Filomeno Ulizes sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Radomil Redisz made the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Cheche hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The FC MCM fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FC MCM's Florin Gaciu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaudencio Inko hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Elodio Ghinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Mark Wenerdahl made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Radomil Redisz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl. Mark Wenerdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC MCM's Nicodim Pârâianu was substituted for Florin Gaciu. FC MCM's Leontin Toma was substituted for Mugur Jupâneanu. FC MCM made a substitution. Gavril Mangra replaced Ion Panduru. FC MCM's attentive Elodio Ghinescu managed to snatch the ball when Gaudencio Inko made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Mark Wenerdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Pârâianu in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Elodio Ghinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl got control of the ball when Nicodim Pârâianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Berutti FC booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Pârâianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Camilo Uxio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Tufescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manuel Tufescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Edelmiro Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Radomil Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC MCM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC MCM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
