Örsjö's Elof Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondino Casanova in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Club Deportes La Serena's Abner Orden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elof Karlsson. Elof Karlsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abner Orden in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elof Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Club Deportes La Serena were awarded a corner. Ondino Casanova went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marc Piter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elof Karlsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute Abner Orden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Garzo got free with Elof Karlsson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Örsjö got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Frisk. In the 24th minute of the match, Abner Orden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elof Karlsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes into the game, Club Deportes La Serena's Edgardo Garzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elof Karlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Kennet Frisk charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kennet Frisk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kennet Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Elof Karlsson made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ubaldo Matildo Orella sent off a good shot on target. Elof Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Angel Budinich in the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 50 minutes, Ubaldo Matildo Orella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportes La Serena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Matildo Orella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Ove Åkerström hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Valentín Solezzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Elof Karlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elof Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Matildo Orella, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Örsjö's goal looked a bit too open when Abner Orden came free, but Elof Karlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Angel Budinich hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Club Deportes La Serena's Isaiás Bourchier was substituted for Luis Angel Budinich. Elof Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaiás Bourchier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abner Orden in the 78th minute of play forced Örsjö's goalkeeper Elof Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Isaiás Bourchier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elof Karlsson. Örsjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaiás Bourchier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes La Serena's Abner Orden got a free kick in the 87th minute. Elof Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ondino Casanova in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Club Deportes La Serena were the better team. Club Deportes La Serena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
