The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute Raik Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raik Topuz in the 18th minute of play. Téo Savion scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigio Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medero Gadea got free with Gigio Buffon in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medero Gadea in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigio Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Topuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Olaf Hager kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Dudu in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Téo Savion hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Rony Dudu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Knechtli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Paulo Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HollywooDogs and the Olympique Fribourg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulo Santana hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Rony Dudu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Ribéry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raik Topuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Herve Muller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raik Topuz in the 57th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, HollywooDogs's Gustavo Gómez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustavo Gómez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of HollywooDogs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Gómez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in HollywooDogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Olympique Fribourg. Marcellus Walpert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gigio Buffon. 3-0. 64 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Gadea came free, but Gigio Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Gadea, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Raik Topuz took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigio Buffon. Gigio Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after HollywooDogs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcellus Walpert took the corner. The corner ended in Marcellus Walpert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon did a great save. Olympique Fribourg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
