The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rolando Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Barrios got free with Marcinho Cardozo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcinho Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anko Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juventus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rolando Arenas in the 13th minute. The corner led Juventus FC's Rolando Arenas to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcinho Cardozo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's Anko Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Família Ressaca MZ's Marcinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anko Arias in the 31st minute of play. Marcinho Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Barrios in the 32nd minute. After 41 minutes, Alberto Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus FC and the Família Ressaca MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Barrios hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Augusto Trancoso during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. João Augusto Trancoso hit a great ball. Marcinho Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Arenas in the 61st minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Marcinho Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Rolando Arenas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some careless play in the Família Ressaca MZ defense, Berto Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcinho Cardozo. The Família Ressaca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho Cardozo should have stopped the shot. Marcinho Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anko Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Rolando Arenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juventus FC fully deserved thier win.
