An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Erico in the 54th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Everardo Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nahitantino's Fermin Iyan was substituted for Camilo Hernando. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Eleuterio Odilon replaced Isaias Sasoin. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nahitantino's goalkeeper Everardo Javiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteban Salvator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Aguirre having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Esteban Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
