A collision led to Cóndor Football Club getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Angelo Lixandro hit a great ball. Augusto Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute of the match Lima Team got a corner. Cóndor Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renato Vargas ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Nicolas Mendes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Augusto Cerilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Gois went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Delmiro Peyo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cóndor Football Club's protests and gave Delmiro Peyo a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, Lima Team's Tomás Gois nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 23 minutes, Alvaro Guter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cóndor Football Club and the Lima Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cóndor Football Club's Alvaro Guter got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Lima Team's Renato Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Augusto Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusmão Candeias in the 27th minute of play. Augusto Cerilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Gois went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gusmão Candeias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cóndor Football Club's Augusto Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gusmão Candeias made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Honorato Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lima Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cóndor Football Club the free kick. Honorato Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Rosalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Fagundes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Renato Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gusmão Candeias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Cerilo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Nélson Bentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Rosalio in the 60th minute of the match. When Fabiano Carrasqueira fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Fabiano Carrasqueira hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Delmiro Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Fagundes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cóndor Football Club defense, Gusmão Candeias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Cerilo. The Cóndor Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Cerilo should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Lima Team's Gusmão Candeias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Cerilo. Augusto Cerilo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Nélson Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Augusto Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Mendes got free with Augusto Cerilo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Gelmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Augusto Cerilo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lima Team's Gusmão Candeias. But to his dismay, Gusmão Candeias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Augusto Cerilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Gois in the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saúl Campos during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lima Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The Lima Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lima Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
