Saverio Abilio was slow to take the kick. During this time Bayern Maurich's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Saverio Abilio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Margarita's Alfredo Chaime did a great save. Alfredo Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Garci in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Ambrosio Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Laureano Eztebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saverio Abilio took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Chaime. Alfredo Chaime dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Saverio Abilio made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Bayern Maurich's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lizardi came free, but Albino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Lizardi in the 90th minute of play forced Bayern Maurich's goalkeeper Albino Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Garci got free with Alfredo Chaime in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Rodrigo Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bayern Maurich had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
