Marcelo Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wilson Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Ursino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denílson Moreira went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Naldo Viana hit a great ball. Jairo Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Jairo Deunoro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gurdurão's Wilson Vianna. Wilson Vianna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Deunoro in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gurdurão's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Viana. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jairo Deunoro made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Jairo Deunoro sped through Gurdurão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Vianna. Wilson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Vidal. Jairo Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Jairo Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Denílson Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Ursino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Luisito Gaizkine got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gurdurão's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Vianna came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. D.J. Malay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Gurdurão's Dalmo Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Ursino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gurdurão reached it. Wilson Vianna was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Jairo Deunoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Deunoro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Wilson Vianna made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jairo Deunoro sent off a good shot on target. When Caballeritos del Baile's Jairo Deunoro in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jairo Deunoro scored 2-6 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Vianna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Vianna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jairo Deunoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jairo Deunoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caballeritos del Baile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Galon Damašas hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Jairo Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Moreira. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
