John Paul Metcalfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 43rd minute Bernardino Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Paul Metcalfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Alejandro Endura got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Regis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyle Eglington. But to his dismay, Felipe Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Regis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kyle Eglington got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Kyle Eglington got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alejandro Endura was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alejandro Endura hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Simon Ellis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
