Gone With the Win
Spectators: 168 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicu Vornicu got the match started through his kick off. Ekhemos Kezdoglou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jack Saunders showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Tommy Merris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Paul Metcalfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match FC Acatar got a corner. Gone With the Win's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florin Martin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 20th minute, Nicu Vornicu made a precise shot to the right of John Paul Metcalfe. Gone With the Win's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 24 minutes, Rio Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gone With the Win's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rio Dunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Eren Tuygun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Eren Tuygun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Paul Metcalfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Paul Metcalfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Bâlea in the 37th minute of the match. Svante Malmström charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svante Malmström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Svante Malmström. 44 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Vornicu came free, but John Paul Metcalfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Paul Metcalfe came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Acatar's Nicu Vornicu. But to his dismay, Nicu Vornicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jack Saunders to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lee Smith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gone With the Win's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Acatar the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gone With the Win fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! John Nelson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Nicu Vornicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but John Paul Metcalfe made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Eren Tuygun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Paul Metcalfe, 1-6. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paul Taşcu hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, FC Acatar's Nicu Vornicu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Nicu Vornicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Paul Metcalfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Gone With the Win's John Paul Metcalfe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Gone With the Win from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tommy Merris hit a great ball. Tommy Merris hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. John Nelson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gone With the Win were furious when Simon Ellis was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 92nd minute, one of Gone With the Win:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gone With the Win. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for FC Acatar. Nicu Vornicu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving John Paul Metcalfe. 1-8. FC Acatar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
