Staffan Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amilcar Gomez in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gerwin Redan hit a great ball. Enrique Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Manel Villa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manel Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Gulliksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Baxters Boys's Enrique Tavares in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Enrique Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manel Villa was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Amilcar Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Enrique Tavares made the kick off in the second half. Gerwin Redan made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stronghold S.A's Gerben Deitmers. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amilcar Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stronghold S.A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Stronghold S.A's Remigio Urdaspal was substituted for Sulo Ahola. Amilcar Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staffan Joensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amilcar Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head.
