Niculae Isvoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 24th minute of the match. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Cioculescu in the 25th minute of play. F.C.BARLAD's attentive Gheorghe Zbanţ managed to snatch the ball when Sven-Erik Fredriksson made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. When Gheorghe Zbanţ fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Gheorghe Zbanţ a yellow card for diving instead. Gheorghe Zbanţ kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Bacalbașa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Fågel. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Bacalbașa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sven-Erik Fredriksson made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Torbjörn Dahlkvist however managed to control.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Otsoa was the one to do the kick off. German Cibran's late challenge caught a F.C.BARLAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Cibran helped the player get up and apologised. German Cibran kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Adam Gheorghiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Gheorghiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The F.C.BARLAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 67 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Surdu. 73 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bacalbașa came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Daniel Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Eric Bertaux got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Nichifor Codruț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Fågel. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Codruț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Erik Fredriksson in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C.BARLAD's Gheorghe Zbanţ. Eric Bertaux charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Bertaux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Eric Bertaux. 88 minutes into the game, Robin Fagrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.BARLAD the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Nichifor Codruț left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. F.C.BARLAD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
