Rubio Bernardo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rubio Bernardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oséas Baptista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Lasaca came free, but Oséas Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Washington Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Angelo Blue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Town SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Militros F.C. the free kick. Angelo Blue hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rik Hello to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Militros F.C.'s zone, Angelo Blue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Baptista came out of the goal and Angelo Blue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Blue to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Peixoto got free with Sandro Palomares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Palomares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Palomares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. It was a well-played corner which Angelo Blue managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Oséas Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Blue in the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the West Town SC defense, Betão Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Palomares. The West Town SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Palomares should have stopped the shot. Militros F.C.'s Pedrinho do Valle was substituted for Ronaldão Silva. Arturo Aballe made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Xaiver Ascarretazabal immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Machado in the 78th minute of play forced West Town SC's goalkeeper Sandro Palomares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Oséas Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oséas Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Blue in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rik Hello hit a great ball. Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia was substituted for Betão Machado. After a rather tough play, Militros F.C.'s Rik Hello got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Washington Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sandro Palomares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wanderson Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Palomares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Wanderson Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wanderson Valencia scored 0-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Palomares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Militros F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
