The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Machado in the 4th minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Feliciano Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rik Hello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Feliciano Raphael made a huge save. Rik Hellos short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Feliciano Raphael to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celso Abaunza made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alberto Weterio. Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Yan Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Betão Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragons AFC's Emiliano Grabiel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Maximo Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Feliciano Raphael made a huge save. Militros F.C.'s Washington Peixoto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feliciano Raphael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oséas Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match, Betão Machado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feliciano Raphael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Feliciano Raphael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Peixoto in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Machado got free with Feliciano Raphael in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Cheche to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Washington Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Raphael. Dragons AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 65th minute, Emiliano Grabiel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oséas Baptista, passed just outside the right post. 70 minutes into the game, Betão Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Feliciano Raphael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Militros F.C.'s Pedrinho do Valle was substituted for Ronaldão Silva. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Radomir Zieba hit a great ball. Melquiades Lico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oséas Baptista. Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Dragons AFC's Claudio Cheche in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Militros F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Feliciano Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Valencia's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Emiliano Grabiel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Oséas Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragons AFC. 90 minutes into the match, Wanderson Valencia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Raphael. Dragons AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Valencia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 94 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Elorri. After 95 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Lico. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dragons AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Militros F.C..
