The supporters of FC Galicia Lviv booed when Austra VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kit Vire didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Austra VFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gláuber Mazza hit a great ball. Kitt Pegov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 21st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Austra VFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Galicia Lviv:s goal. After 24 minutes of play, FC Galicia Lviv's Ruslan Golaydo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kitt Pegov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergiy Loboyko took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kitt Pegov. Kitt Pegov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sergiy Loboyko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gláuber Mazza to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Galicia Lviv's Sergiy Loboyko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kitt Pegov. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. Sergiy Loboyko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitt Pegov having to interfere. Svyatoslav Krutyvus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Kitt Pegov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo Saldanha's late challenge caught a FC Galicia Lviv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. FC Galicia Lviv made a substitution. Nazariy Tytarchuk replaced Myroslav Akymenko. But to his dismay, Gláuber Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 96 played minutes, Austra VFC's Kit Vire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Boldrini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Austra VFC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Nazariy Tytarchuk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kitt Pegov. That made the score 2-4 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC Galicia Lviv left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Austra VFC.
