He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New Loser FC reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toby Claydon in the 52nd minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Juventus Telford's Kasey Markinson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pat Silk kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The Juventus Telford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Beckham should have stopped the shot. Juventus Telford's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
