An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Eleazar in the 10th minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Ed Beckham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Ignatius made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alastair Wishart sent off a good shot on target. Amancio Ignatius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Goldthorpe in the 16th minute. Eloy Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Amancio Ignatius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some careless play in the Juventus Telford defense, Edgard Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Beckham. The Juventus Telford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Beckham should have stopped the shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Amancio Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Goldthorpe in the 39th minute of play. Baldomero Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Toby Claydon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Ignatius having to interfere. Gaudencio Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ed Beckham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Emanuel Eleazar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
