In the 61st minute of the match Вежен got a corner. Atlético Matorrales's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nenko Lenkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Vasev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nenko Lenkov fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 78th minute, Вежен's Minko Tzintzarski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Gipuzkoa. Igor Gipuzkoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The supporters of Вежен booed when Atlético Matorrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Cesaro in the 90th minute of play forced Вежен's goalkeeper Stoil Batkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desislav Dimiev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Igor Gipuzkoa made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Stefan Vasev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Gipuzkoa. Stefan Vasev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Вежен had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
