The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artis Udots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The SK Annenieki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilis Bura should have stopped the shot. Vilis Bura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Echavarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Casco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the UE Cornella players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
