After having played for 28 minutes, Andreas Korpetis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vakoufi Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Korpetis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Leonardo Perpinya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Korpetis in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Vakoufi Utd got a corner. Tequileros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Themis Pepper ran over to the corner to take the kick. Themis Pepper made a great header on Vakoufi Utd's corner, it was just that Tequileros FC's Nicolas Mel managed to reach the ball for a save. Rafael Martino tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nicolas Mel. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Nicolas Mel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vakoufi Utd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
